|Recommended: YesReally nice layout and pet friendlt — I love how dog friendly they are here, there are potty stations everywhere just in case you don't have bags yourself. As well as an onsite dog park. The maintenance is always quick to respond anytime I have a problem as well The staff is very well knowledge in what they are doing, personally I have worked on hot tubs so I am picky about the hot tubs I go in, I spoke with the pool maintenance guy and he was very well knowledge in proper pool hot tub maintenance and was able to answer all of the questions I had. The apartment itself is gorgeous, I love how tall the ceilings are on the third floor My only complaint is that I am only 5'3 and so it can be difficult to reach the shelves, however nothing a good step stool can't fix I also love that it is a gated community, it gives me a comfort and safety while living in Salem.

|Recommended: YesAlmost perfect — The problems I have had with this apartment aren't things that can easily be fixed by staff. The lack of noise insulation is the main issue. On all other counts the staff has been extremely helpful and is one of my best apartment service experiences and for that I'm very grateful for that.

|Recommended: YesWonderful Apartment — Overall, I really like Acero West Salem. This is my first apartment, but compared to my friend's apartments my unit is far more spacious and updated. I love cooking in my kitchen, and I've never had any trouble with any of the appliances. I go down to the pool and spa all the time just to relax or do some studying. The staff is super responsive and helpful, especially the maintenance staff. I will say that the units don't have much in the way of soundproofing. Not only can you hear your neighbors anytime their voice goes above normal conversation volume, the road is pretty loud especially if you want to have the windows cracked for some fresh air, but there's not much to be done about that. I would just recommend trying to get a unit away from the road.

|Recommended: YesGreat apartments — Overall great place to live, walls are a bit thin and there is nowhere for kids to play. Also a lack of storage is a bit of a bummer.

That staff is fantastic, the grounds are beautifully manicured, and the garbage pick up is a luxury I never knew I wanted needed. Even through COVID they have done nice little extras to make their residents feel special

|Recommended: YesGreat safe palce to live — I enjoy living here There are definitely a few things I would like to see change, but it's still worth it. I would like the stairways to be cleaner I think the concept of having the trash next to each door makes that a challenge though . I would like to have better quality of hardware used in the apartment so things don't break or scratch as easily, however the maintenance people are a great help with everything. It just leaves me slightly paranoid all the time about getting our deposit back since things do seem to be easily ruined on accident. I would recommend people to live here, especially if they don't mind a unit with stairs. Living on the top floor is great and gets a lot of light. We chose to live hear because of the location and overall safety. It has been a great place regardless of my cons.

|Recommended: YesWell-appointed, well maintained, pleasant and agreeable overall. — Acero West Salem is a well-thought out community with just the right combination of luxury and affordability. The community is well maintained and the unit features are just what an apartment dweller prefers a layout that has a sense of a true home, with upgraded features like a fireplace and full-size washer dryer. Also the patio is private, will well0-maintained landscaping to look upon. Parking is generous and never problem.

|Recommended: YesGreat complex — I have not had any issues since moving in two months ago. The gated community provides a sense of security, and I love that they gave options for any nuisances that may arise.

Gina, Mikayla, Renee, are all so helpful, cheerful, respectful and very easy to work with. Rudy and Brian work in maintenance and are very responsive and helpful. Everyone goes above and beyond to make life comfortable. Neighbors are friendly and there is very little noise. The gated entry adds a layer of security that we very much appreciate. We would highly recommend Acero
